MEET ME AT THE MARKET MISSION STATEMENT:
To bring people of all ages and fitness levels together to enjoy physical activity, socialize with friends and support local businesses.

Meet Me at the Market check-in: 5 – 7 p.m.
NewBo City Market remains open until 8 p.m.

In order to encourage social distancing, we have reworked Meet Me at the Market for summer 2020. This year, the NewBo City Market will feature a dance or yoga livestream on their Facebook page each Thursday at 6 p.m.

Routes for walks, runs, and bike rides will also be shared through email newsletter and on social media. We encourage Meet Me at the Market participants to execute these routes at their leisure throughout the week, being sure to practice social distancing, and still “check in” to Meet Me at the Market once the activity is completed.

Group walks

  • Walks can be done anytime throughout the week and weekly routes can be found listed below. Be sure to register and check in when you complete a route!
  • Length of walks range from one to four miles.
  • Walks will take place outdoors so please dress accordingly.
  • Every week is a different route, including special destination walks.

Running Groups

Group Bike Rides

  • Bike rides can be done at any time throughout the week. Weekly routes will be shared below. Be sure to register and check in when you complete a route!
  • Riders must provide their own helmet and bicycle in good working order; there is no SAG support provided.
  • Every week will feature a different route, introducing you to trails/bike lanes in the city, and destination rides.
  • Rides range from 5-30 miles. Check each week for ride descriptions including terrain, length and skill level.

Dance Fitness

  • Class will be live-streamed at 6-6:45pm on Facebook, every other Thursday.
  • An in-person option is also available. Check out the Facebook event page for reservation information.
  • Consult the Facebook event calendar for type of dance class and instructor each week.
  • No previous dance experience necessary, classes are open to all fitness and dance levels.
  • Have water and a towel, you will be working up a sweat!

Outdoor Yoga

  • Class is live-streamed at 6 pm on Facebook, alternating Thursdays with dance classes.
