Meet Me at the Market check-in: 5 – 7 p.m.
NewBo City Market remains open until 8 p.m.

Route maps are available so you can walk, run or bike on your own schedule and pace.

Or join one of the many group events planned each week.
Be sure to check the home page calendar for specific events and times.

Group walks

Coordinated by The MAC

  • Walks begin at 5:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted for a special destination walk).
  • Length of walks range from one to four miles.
  • Walks will take place outdoors so please dress accordingly.
  • Every week is a different route, including special destination walks.
  • Expect to arrive back from the walk between 6 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Free monthly history walks led by local historian, Mark Stouffer Hunter.

Running Groups
Coordinated by Corridor Running, Iowa Running Company, and WeRun

  • Runners begin to gather at 5:45 p.m. and runs begin at 6 p.m.
  • All experience levels welcome!
  • Two running groups offered each week.  We Run will lead a shorter run for those interested in going 3-5 miles. Corridor Running and Iowa Running Company will lead a longer run for those interested in running 6-10 miles.
  • Expect to arrive back from the run between 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Group Bike Rides
Coordinated by Bike2Work Consultants

  • Bike riders will gather with other bikers near 3rd Street S.E.
  • Riders must provide their own helmet and bicycle in good working order; there is no SAG support provided.
  • Rides begin at 6 p.m.
  • Every week will feature a different route, introducing you to trails/bike lanes in the city, and destination rides.
  • Rides range from 5-30 miles. Check each week for ride descriptions including terrain, length and skill level.
  • Rain can cancel rides. Check Facebook for up to date information.
  • Expect to arrive back from the ride between 7 – 8:30 p.m. for most rides.

Outdoor Dance Fitness
Coordinated by Dance Club Cardio

  • Class meets 6-7pm at the outdoor stage at NewBo City Market.
  • Dance is canceled in case of rain or the grass is wet.
  • Consult the event calendar for type of dance class and instructor each week.
  • No previous dance experience necessary, classes are open to all fitness and dance levels.
  • Bring water and a towel, you will be working up a sweat!
  • Dancing will take place on both cement and grass areas, please wear appropriate gym shoes.

Outdoor Yoga
Coordinated by Lovar Davis Kidd, RYT & LMT at Hands in Harmony Massage Specialists & Spa

  • Participants should bring their own yoga mat.
  • Class meets 7-8 pm on the front lawn of NewBo City Market.
  • Yoga is canceled in case of rain or the grass is wet.
  • Consult the event calendar for type of yoga and scheduled Certified Yoga Instructor.

Health Tables

  • Presented by Mercy Medical Center.
  • Table display located next to check-in tables.
  • Free health education and screenings led by health professionals.
  • Fun health-related activities for children once a month.
  • Join staff from Hall-Perrine Cancer Center on group walks on 3rd week of each month.
